Alisha was born in Florida on July 14, 1989. Her first role as an actor was in the 2008 short Murder on Her Mind. In the following year, she began acting full-time. from 2010, she got her first film part, Just Before I Go in 2014. The actress also appeared in one-episode episodes on TV show Criminal Minds and Married. Her birthplace was Dallas, Texas on the 7th of October 1986. Her siblings and parents raised her. Holland Roden attended the Hockaday School an exclusive girls school for girls. The girl comes of a medical background where her family members are involved with UCLA women's studies as well as molecular biology. Holland Roden spent a few months studying pre-medical, as she hoped to become the cardiothoracic surgeon. Then she decided to move to acting. Then, she was able to play only one-off roles in Switched at Birth (a show) as well as Major Crimes. She then played Nurse Kelsey on two episodes of General Hospital. She also starred in the role of Maia Roberts for the Freeform television series Shadowhunters. Raising Dion was her next character.
